Erin McInerney
Raised in Texas and a product of Texas public school music education initiatives, Erin now resides in Strasbourg, France, where she is an adjunct Professor of English at the University of Strasbourg and a doctoral student in Sociolinguistics at the University of Strasbourg and the University of Glasgow (Scotland).
Erin received her Bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education and French from Baylor University, performing for four years under the direction of Dr. Lynne Gackle and Dr. Alan Raines. In 2018, she received her M.A. from Columbia University in English Education, where she had the occasion to collaborate with teaching artists in residence at The Juilliard School.

Made-to-measure workshops and clinics for young or advanced singers performing French choral literature; such as for All-State choir camps, UIL preparations or pre-tour rehearsals.
Transcriptions
IPA transcriptions for scores or librettos with French text, or verification of IPA transcriptions done by others. IPA transcription includes markers of stress, and can include notes to conductors about potential areas of difficulty for singers and how to approach them.
Recordings
French text recorded and performed spoken in plain voice, in rhythm or sung.
